Linda Styles Berkery grew up as the middle daughter in the Styles Funeral Home in Troy, NY. She won second place in Streetlight Magazine’s 2023 Essay/Memoir Contest for her essay, Love in Life’s Tunnels. Her memoir, Reflections: A Wardrobe of Life Lessons was published in 2019. Linda’s writings on faith / life have been published in various magazines, newspapers, and blogs.

Linda has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jack Berkery, for over 55 years. She enjoys visits from her children and grandchildren at her home in Latham, NY. Linda loves dark chocolate, makes braided cinnamon bread when it snows, and still sends handwritten letters to family and friends.
